Features
One of the primary aspects people focus on when they purchase a VAL6 is how portable each and every model is, and the KBE5S is no exception. Like the rest, it can run off a power inverter from your vehicle for heating needed out in the field, on the side of the road, at a tailgate party, or wherever! It burns kerosene, #1 and #2 diesel, and bio-diesel (20%), and each one as clean as the one before it. It only burns 0.85 gal/hr of fuel, so with the nine gallon fuel tank, the KBE5S can operate non-stop for 10.5 hours.
The design (as in, not copied) of each VAL6 means a 100% recovery of heat from the fuel you pay for and put in. Due to the high efficiency, there’s no smell, burning eyes, headaches, nausea, or carbon monoxide that you have to worry about. It’s a purely radiant heater, so you won’t have any dust blowing around in your workspace.
